Bar inventory count sheet

A spreadsheet to take your weekly count, laid out the way a bar is: one row per product, one column per section. Use it on paper, in Excel or Google Sheets, or import it straight into Bar Ledger.

Download the spreadsheet (.csv)

How to use it

  1. List your products with their category, vendor, bottle cost and par (how many you want on hand).
  2. Rename the section columns (Well, Back Bar, Storage) to match your bar. Add a column for each place stock sits.
  3. Count each section and write what's there. Count open bottles in tenths: 0.7 is a bottle that's 70% full.
  4. Add up each row for what's on hand, and multiply by unit cost for its value. Anything under par goes on the order.

Importing it into Bar Ledger

The column names are the ones Bar Ledger reads, so you can import this file as your product list. Your sections are created from the section columns, and any counts you've filled in come across as your starting stock. After that, counts happen on your phone and the totals, values and orders are worked out for you.
